Description

Bee for Bumblebee Conservation Trust We love bees so are happy to support Bumblebee Conservation Trust in the amazing work they do to help our bees!  In association with them, we have created recycled seed packet charity wedding favours – for each packet of seeds sold, 10p is donated to Bumblebee Conservation Trust.  The Bumblebee Conservation Trust was established out of concern for the serious plight of British bees and is a science-led organisation.  The charity is a registered charity, No 1115634, Scottish Charity No SC042830.

The Trust is committed to supporting the UK’s biodiversity and natural habitat, so that bumblebees and other wild pollinators can thrive. They raise awareness of bumblebees via their website and social media, have regional projects throughout the UK (BeeWalks, landscape surveys, advice, restoring habitat), and conduct research on habitats

  • Made from quality recycled and recyclable paper
  • Seeds are in a glassine paper sachet (not foil and plastic) inside the seed packet
  • Sowing instructions and seed content are printed on the back
  • Perfect for any wedding theme
  • 9 x 12 cm size
  • Eco-friendly product

What is glassine paper?

Glassine paper is an eco-friendly and plastic-free alternative to mass-produced heat-sealed plastic and foil/paper sachets.  Unlike those sachets glassine paper can be recycled and is biodegradable.  It is also resistant to moisture and will keep the seeds dry in the main packet.
