Butterfly and Bee Seeds Memorial Gift

£1.20 Inc VAT

Description

This butterfly and bee seeds memorial gift contains wildflower seeds that butterflies and bees love. They are all British wildflower species and the seeds are grown in the UK too.  They are inside the packet in a glassine paper sachet, not a foil and plastic one.

The seed packet measures 9 x 12 cm and is completely recycled and recyclable.  The back of the packet is printed with the seed content and sowing instructions.

This is a lovely memorial gift for remembering your loved one, producing lovely flowers in the summer

What is glassine paper? Glassine paper is an eco-friendly and plastic-free alternative to mass-produced heat-sealed plastic and foil/paper sachets.  Unlike those sachets glassine paper can be recycled and is biodegradable.  It is also resistant to moisture and will keep the seeds dry in the main packet.

About the Seeds

Our cornfield annuals mix includes Cornflower, Corn Marigold, Corn Chamomile and Poppy.  They are wonderful for butterflies, bees and other insects.  They are easy to grow and will flower the same year of sowing. As they are annuals, they will only flower this one year.  You could leave the seedheads on after flowering to scatter some seeds for next year, or collect your own seeds to save and sow next year.  You will get about a gram or so of seeds, enough to create a 1 metre square wildflower patch.

Our seeds are UK-grown wildflower species, fully traceable and the company who supplies us is checked annually by DEFRA – so you can be sure you are getting quality seeds.
