Description

Bat Conservation Trust logo

We love bats and are so pleased that Bat Conservation Trust are working with us! Our Bat Conservation Trust charity wedding favour will raise funds for their fantastic work in helping bats.  The charity strives for a world where bats and people can thrive together in harmony, so their work focuses on gathering information about bats and how they use their landscapes, taking action to both protect bats and enhance the landscape they rely on, and to inspire people about bats and their conservation. Registered charity number 1012361.  10p from every Bat Conservation charity wedding favour bought will be donated to the charity.

What is glassine paper?

Glassine paper is an eco-friendly and plastic-free alternative to mass-produced heat-sealed plastic and foil/paper sachets.  Unlike those sachets glassine paper can be recycled and is biodegradable.  It is also resistant to moisture and will keep the seeds dry in the main packet.

“Wildflower Favours {now Wildflower Promotions} has been donating toward our work for several years but beyond that, the lovely seed packets have helped to raise awareness of bats with wider audiences. The funds raised by Wildflower Favours have helped all aspects of our work, from the National Bat Helpline that helps people to help bats through to our work to dispel some of the misconceptions and misunderstandings around bats and bat conservation. We can’t thank Teresa enough for the support she has given us.”

About the Seeds

  • Our own bespoke mix of 3 UK wildflower species that will attract the bugs bats like to eat – Garlic Mustard, Red Campion and Ox-eye Daisy
  • The seeds have been grown in the UK
  • Easy to sow and grow
  • Perfect for all sorts of insects and pollinators, providing the insects bats like to eat
  • Red Campion and Ox-eye Daisy are perennial so will flower every year.  Garlic Mustard is annual, leave the seeds on to sow around for next year.  Great value for money!
