Such a beautiful wildflower seeds wedding favour that your guests will love! This recycled seed packet wedding favour measures 9 x 12 cm and contains a mix of British wildflower seeds, all great for pollinating insects! The seeds will be inside a glassine paper sachet, not a plastic and foil one. The back of the packet is printed with the sowing instructions and seed content.
Each seed packet is personalised with your wedding details – please advise these in the box above. Please choose your packet colour above – there is a choice of recycled white or recycled manilla.
Ordered way in advance of your wedding? No problem! The seeds are viable for a few years, just store them soemewhere cool and dry out of direct sunlight.
What is glassine paper? Glassine paper is an eco-friendly and plastic-free alternative to mass-produced heat-sealed plastic and foil/paper sachets. Unlike those sachets glassine paper can be recycled and is biodegradable. It is also resistant to moisture and will keep the seeds dry in the main packet.
About the Seeds
There are 7 species of wildflower in this mix, which is our own bespoke mix. The seeds are grown in the UK and are UK species only – all of them are amazing for insects! Our seed grower keeps traceable records of their seeds and is inspected annually by DEFRA, so you can be sure you are getting a quality product. You will get about a gram or so of seeds, enough to create a 1 metre square wildflower patch.
The seeds are Ladies Bedstraw, Teasel, Lesser Knapweed, Ox-eye Daisy, Selfheal, Musk Mallow and Wild Carrot.
