We love bats and are so pleased that Bat Conservation Trust are working with us! Our Bat Conservation Trust charity wedding favour will raise funds for their fantastic work in helping bats with a donation of 10p being made to the charity for every seed pacekt sold in their name.
The charity strives for a world where bats and people can thrive together in harmony, so their work focuses on gathering information about bats and how they use their landscapes, taking action to both protect bats and enhance the landscape they rely on, and to inspire people about bats and their conservation. The Bat Conservation Trust is the leading non-governmental organisation in the United Kingdom solely devoted to the conservation of bats and the landscapes on which they rely.
Bat Conservation Trust works to achieve policies that support the recovery of bats, ensuring that laws and policies reflect the needs of bats. They work with partners and government to support and influence, drawing on science-based evidence and unique expertise. Maintaining current protections for bats and making sure they are implemented effectively is also a major part of their work.
Bat populations need safe roosts and foraging areas, and the ability to keep habitats connected rather than becoming ever more isolated and fragmented. But while protections have improved over the long term, bat habitats are still being lost or degraded because of unsustainable land management and poor development decisions. Bat Conservation Trust works across woodland, built environment and agricultural land to support the best outcomes for bats and people.
The Bat Conservation Trust supports local bat groups across the UK and has nearly 5,000 members. They work with volunteers, scientists, industry and government on a range of projects. To achieve our vision of a world rich in wildlife where bats and people thrive together, humans need to discover more about bats and how they use the landscape. We must take action to protect bats and create and enhance the landscapes they need to survive, and to inspire people about the wonder of bats and how to help them.

We have supported Bat Conservation Trust for a number of years. here is what they say:
“Wildflower Favours {now Wildflower Promotions} has been donating toward our work for several years but beyond that, the lovely seed packets have helped to raise awareness of bats with wider audiences. The funds raised by Wildflower Favours have helped all aspects of our work, from the National Bat Helpline that helps people to help bats through to our work to dispel some of the misconceptions and misunderstandings around bats and bat conservation. We can’t thank Teresa enough for the support she has given us.”
