About the seed packet
The seed packet measures 9 x 12 cm and is made from quality recycled manilla or white paper. The seeds will be inside the packet in a glassine paper sachet, not a foil and plastic one. The back of the packet details the sowing instructions and seed content.
The front of the packet is personalised with your wedding details, please add those in the box above.
What is glassine paper? Glassine paper is an eco-friendly and plastic-free alternative to mass-produced heat-sealed plastic and foil/paper sachets. Unlike those sachets glassine paper can be recycled and is biodegradable. It is also resistant to moisture and will keep the seeds dry in the main packet.
You are not getting married for a while but are super-organised? The seeds are viable for a few years and are easy to store by keeping them somewhere cool and dry out of direct sunlight.
About the Seeds
There are 7 species of wildflower in this mix, which is our own bespoke mix. The seeds are grown in the UK and are UK species only – all of them are amazing for insects! Our seed grower keeps traceable records of their seeds and is inspected annually by DEFRA, so you can be sure you are getting a quality product. You will get about a gram or so of seeds, enough to create a 1 metre square wildflower patch.
The seeds are Ladies Bedstraw, Teasel, Lesser Knapweed, Ox-eye Daisy, Selfheal, Musk Mallow and Wild Carrot.
