This bunting wildflower wedding favour is perfect for giving Nature a helping hand by sowing the seeds our native butterflies and bees need. The packet is personalised with your wedding details – please enter them in the box above. These packets can also be personalised for any other event, or, for business, have a logo added.
Each manilla paper seed packet is completely recycled, made from quality paper, and measures 9 x 12 cm. The reverse of the packet details the seeds inside and the sowing instructions. The seeds inside are in a glassine paper sachet (not foil and plastic) and are perfect for bees (and other insects too!). They are also grown in the UK and are native UK species.
What is glassine paper? Glassine paper is an eco-friendly and plastic-free alternative to mass-produced heat-sealed plastic and foil/paper sachets. Unlike those sachets glassine paper can be recycled and is biodegradable. It is also resistant to moisture and will keep the seeds dry in the main packet.
For your favours way before your wedding? No problem! The seeds are viable for a few years and are easy to store by keeping them somewhere cool and dry out of direct sunlight.
About the Seeds
There are 7 species of wildflower in this mix, which is our own bespoke mix. The seeds are grown in the UK and are UK species only – all of them are amazing for insects! Our seed grower keeps traceable records of their seeds and is inspected annually by DEFRA, so you can be sure you are getting a quality product. You will get about a gram or so of seeds, enough to create a 1 metre square wildflower patch.
The seeds are Ladies Bedstraw, Teasel, Lesser Knapweed, Ox-eye Daisy, Selfheal, Musk Mallow and Wild Carrot.
