Bunting Wildflower Wedding Favour

£0.99 Inc VAT

Description

RHS Plants for PollinatorsThis bunting wildflower wedding favour is perfect for giving Nature a helping hand by sowing the seeds our native butterflies and bees need. The packet is personalised with your wedding details – please enter them in the box above.  These packets can also be personalised for any other event, or, for business, have a logo added.

Each manilla paper seed packet is completely recycled, made from quality 115 gsm paper, and measures 9 x 12 cm.  The reverse of the packet details the seeds inside and the sowing instructions.  The seeds inside are in a paper sachet (not foil and plastic) and are perfect for bees (and other insects too!). They are also grown in the UK and are native UK species.  If you are not using the seeds for a while, they are viable for a few years and are easy to store by keeping them somewhere cool and dry out of direct sunlight.

By giving these seed packets as a gift, you are helping the environment and our declining bee and butterfly populations – grow the love and Nature will love you back!

About the Seeds

There are 15 species of wildflower in this mix, although not every packet may have all 15, due to seed distribution.  The seeds are grown in the UK and are UK species only – all of them are amazing for insects!  Seed content is as follows (please click each species to find out more information about them):

Yarrow, Lesser Knapweed, Wild Carrot, Ladies Bedstraw, Rough Hawkbit, Ox-eye Daisy, Ribwort Plantain, Cowslip, Selfheal, Meadow Buttercup, Yellow Rattle, Sorrel, Salad Burnet, White Campion and Red Campion.

Perennials, although they may not flower the first year.

Full sun

A variety of shades of green, purple, pink, white, purple and yellow.

Seed sowing instructions

These wildflowers are very easy to sow and quick to germinate.  Find or create a bare patch of soil in a sunny spot and sprinkle on the seeds.  Press them gently into the soil and water – no need to cover with more soil.  Water as required. Can be sown this way also in large pots.  Sow spring to autumn.

We say to allow 14 days plus delivery time for your order.  It really depends on the time of year and how busy we are.  Orders are also opened in strict order of receipt so please do not put a message on your order form about delivery as it won’t be seen until we get to your order – and by then it might be too late!  If you need your order quite soon or urgently, please call or email us and we will do our best to accommodate your deadline.  Full delivery information can be read here.
