Grow Wildflowers

RHS Plants for PollinatorsGone are the days of a party bag full of plastic!  There are so many options now for plastic-free party bags, and here’s one perfect gift to put in or just give to the children when they leave – party bag wildflower seeds!  Giving children wildflower seeds encourages them to interact with the natural world and enjoy the simple pleasure of planting a seed and watching it grow into a flower.  It also teaches them the importance of growing wildflowers for the bees and butterflies.

The seed packet is 100% recycled white paper and contains the following seeds: Cornflower, Corn Chamomile, Corn Marigold and Poppy – perfect for butterflies, bees and hoverflies.  They are also non-toxic wildflowers. They are UK species and grown in the UK without pesticides.  They will be in the seed packet in a paper sachet (not foil and plastic sachets).  Even the glue sealing the seed packet is eco-friendly, being plant-based!  Sowing instructions are printed on the back.

If the seeds are not to be planted for a while, they are viable for a few years – just store them somewhere cool and dry, out of direct sunlight.

About the Seeds

The seeds are grown in the UK and are UK species only – all of them are amazing for insects!
