Fab seed packet for kids to get growing wildflowers! Cornflowers are easy to grow and germinate quickly, so children won’t get too bored waiting for the flowers! They are brilliant wildflowers for bees, too.
The seed packet measures 9 x 12 cm and is made from white recycled paper. The cornflower seeds are inside in a paper sachet (not a foil and plastic one)
About Cornflower Seeds
This pretty wildflower was once common in the wild in cornfields but is now very rare in the wild, having been eradicated by farmers. The flowers are blue and “fluffy” and much loved by bumblebees, honeybees and solitary bees. All members of the centaurea family are rich in nectar.
