Say thank you to your child’s teacher with our fabulous teacher rainbow thank you wildflower seed packet! This teacher rainbow seed packet contains a mix of wildflower seeds that are perfect for butterflies, bees and other bugs. The packet is also personalised with the teacher’s name and your child’s – please enter these details in the personalisation box.
Our seed packets measure 9 x 12 cm and are made from quality recycled paper. The seeds are inside the packet in a glassine paper sachet, not a plastic and foil one. Seed content and sowing instructions are on the reverse of the packet.
Not sowing the seeds yet? The seeds are viable for a few years if stored somewhere cool and dry and out of direct sunlight.
What is glassine paper? Glassine paper is an eco-friendly and plastic-free alternative to mass-produced heat-sealed plastic and foil/paper sachets. Unlike those sachets glassine paper can be recycled and is biodegradable. It is also resistant to moisture and will keep the seeds dry in the main packet.
About the Seeds
There are 7 species of wildflower in this mix, which is our own bespoke mix. The seeds are grown in the UK and are UK species only – all of them are amazing for insects! Our seed grower keeps traceable records of their seeds and is inspected annually by DEFRA, so you can be sure you are getting a quality product. You will get about a gram or so of seeds, enough to create a 1 metre square wildflower patch.
The seeds are Ladies Bedstraw, Teasel, Lesser Knapweed, Ox-eye Daisy, Selfheal, Musk Mallow and Wild Carrot.
