Friends of the Earth is a leading environmental organisation working to create a sustainable future. They fight for climate justice through grassroots campaigns and legal action. Whether that’s using the law to stop fossil fuel projects, or pushing for greater rights to protect nature and our environment. They are also helping the fight for cleaner air and waterways – when we breathe dirty air, eat food grown in toxic soils, and swim in water filled with sewage, it’s bad for our health. Not only that, it destroys habitats and impacts our precious wildlife in multiple ways.
Friends of the Earth are not only fighting for a better United Kingdom, but a better planet too. Our world’s natural resources are being exploited to make countless everyday products, from chicken produced by soy-fed animals to soaps made with palm oil. Many companies involved in these global supply chains are wreaking havoc on our planet’s life support systems. And this environmental destruction comes hand in hand with human rights abuses, particularly for people in poorer countries. These communities bear the brunt of deforestation, land grabbing and displacement, while global corporations reap the profits. While many of us are conscious about the choices we make, shady practices from businesses behaving badly make it hard to see the impact of what we buy. But Friends of the Earth believe they must be held accountable for any damage they cause.
Bees are vital for the future of our planet. Friends of the Earth are supporting the Bee Cause to protect all of Britain’s 270 bee species from pesticides, climate change and habitat loss. By buying these Friends of the Earth seed packets as your wedding favours you, too, are helping save bees. 10p from every seed packet sold will be donated to Friends of the Earth via Work for Good.

We’re immensely grateful for the generous and committed support of Wildflower Favours {now Wildflower Promotions}, who have been standing alongside us since 2017 advocating for a healthier, fairer and greener future. Over the years, Friends of the Earth has campaigned tirelessly for bees, successfully securing restrictions on 3 harmful “neonic” pesticides and ensuring that a national monitoring systems for bee and insect populations was put in place. Today, thanks to supporters such as Wildflower Favours, we are able to continue our fight for stronger environmental protections, securing a healthier and safer environment for people and nature.
