The seed packet measures 9 x 12 cm and is made from quality recycled paper in manilla or white – please choose. The seeds are all UK wildflower species, and the seeds themselves have been grown in the UK. The wildflower seeds are inside a glassine paper sachet inside the packet, not a foil and plastic one.
What is glassine paper? Glassine paper is an eco-friendly and plastic-free alternative to mass-produced heat-sealed plastic and foil/paper sachets. Unlike those sachets glassine paper can be recycled and is biodegradable. It is also resistant to moisture and will keep the seeds dry in the main packet.

The Seeds
There are 7 species of wildflower in this mix. All of them are amazing for insects! They are also UK wildflower species, grown in the UK by a grower who is inspected annually by DEFRA and whose seeds are traceable. So you know you are getting quality seeds! You will get about a gram or so of seeds, enough to create a 1 metre square wildflower patch. Seed content is as follows:
Lesser Knapweed, Wild Carrot, Ladies Bedstraw, Ox-eye Daisy, Selfheal, White Campion, Musk Mallow and Teasel.
The seeds are viable for a few years – just store them somewhere cool and dry, out of direct sunlight.
