Description
Bees Matter – they really do! Without them, humanity would be in dire straits. This design is part of our Biodiversity range, which we hope will encourage people to grow wildflowers not just because they are fab but also to help increase the biodiversity in their local area.
The seed packet is recycled and contains wildflower seeds that are perfect for bees (and other insects too!) – White Campion, Selfheal, Ox-eye Daisy and Lesser Knapweed. There is a choice of recycled white or recycled manilla seed packets – please choose from the drop-down box above.
The wildflower seeds are in a glassine paper sachet (not foil and plastic) inside the seed packet and the sowing instructions and seed content are printed on the back.
Want to use wildflower seeds to show your business cares for the environment? We can add your logo for no extra charge, please just email it over after you have ordered, with your order number. A PNG file is preferred, if possible.
What is glassine paper? Glassine paper is an eco-friendly and plastic-free alternative to mass-produced heat-sealed plastic and foil/paper sachets. Unlike those sachets glassine paper can be recycled and is biodegradable. It is also resistant to moisture and will keep the seeds dry in the main packet.
Can’t sow the seeds yet? No problem! The seeds are viable for a few years and are easy to store by keeping them somewhere cool and dry out of direct sunlight.
Seed Content
There are 4 species of wildflower in this mix, which is bespoke to us. The seeds are grown in the UK by a DEFRA-registered grower who is inspected annually, and the seeds are traceable. The mix contains UK native species only and all of them are amazing for insects! You will get about a gram or so of seeds, enough to create a 1 metre square wildflower patch.
Seed content is as follows – Lesser Knapweed, Ox-eye Daisy, Selfheal, and White Campion.
