Bat Conservation Trust logo

We love bats and are so pleased that Bat Conservation Trust are working with us! Our Bat Conservation Trust charity wedding favour will raise funds for their fantastic work in helping bats.  The charity strives for a world where bats and people can thrive together in harmony, so their work focuses on gathering information about bats and how they use their landscapes, taking action to both protect bats and enhance the landscape they rely on, and to inspire people about bats and their conservation. Registered charity number 1012361.  10p from every Bat Conservation charity wedding favour bought will be donated to the charity.

About Our Bat Conservation Trust Charity Wedding Favours

This recycled seed packet wedding favour measures 9 x 12 cm and contains a mix of UK wildflower seeds, all great for attracting the insects that bats love to much on!  The seeds will be inside a glassine paper sachet, not a plastic and foil one.  The back of the packet is printed with the sowing instructions and seed content.

Each seed packet is personalised with your wedding details – please advise these in the box above.

Ordered way in advance of your wedding?  No problem!  The seeds are viable for a few years, just store them somewhere cool and dry out of direct sunlight.

What is glassine paper? Glassine paper is an eco-friendly and plastic-free alternative to mass-produced heat-sealed plastic and foil/paper sachets.  Unlike those sachets glassine paper can be recycled and is biodegradable.  It is also resistant to moisture and will keep the seeds dry in the main packet.

“Wildflower Favours {now Wildflower Promotions} has been donating toward our work for several years but beyond that, the lovely seed packets have helped to raise awareness of bats with wider audiences. The funds raised by Wildflower Favours have helped all aspects of our work, from the National Bat Helpline that helps people to help bats through to our work to dispel some of the misconceptions and misunderstandings around bats and bat conservation. We can’t thank Teresa enough for the support she has given us.”

About the Seeds

There are 3 species of wildflower in this mix, which is our own bespoke mix.  The seeds are grown in the UK and are UK species only – all of them are amazing for insects!   Our seed grower keeps traceable records of their seeds and is inspected annually by DEFRA, so you can be sure you are getting a quality product.

The seeds are Garlic Mustard, Red Campion and Ox-eye Daisy.
