How Long Will My Order Take To Send?
We strive to get your order to you as quickly as possible – but please allow up to 14 days (plus whatever delivery timescale you chose). It really is dependent on the time of year – growing season, ie, February to October, is the time of year when people’s thoughts turn to sowing seeds and the garden, so we are inundated with orders! That said, we can often accommodate short-notice orders – please contact us if you need your order as a matter of urgency (please see below section on urgent orders).
Please note that we do not send out orders on Saturdays, Sundays or Bank Holidays.
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY OUR DELIVERY OPTIONS INFORMATION BELOW – we know, it does seem rather long and tedious (yawn), but it will explain a lot and save any annoyance later if you don’t get delivery when you expect it!
Delivery Options
These delivery options apply to orders placed via the website. Large orders that have been quoted for will be advised of delivery cost in the quote provided.
First class – this delivery option will be shown for every order. First class delivery is not guaranteed delivery next day and can take a few days to arrive, although, according to Royal Mail, it should only be 1 – 3 days. This is not a tracked delivery option – if you require tracking, please contact us. If you need your order urgently, please see our urgent orders section below.
Free delivery – once your order hits £85.00 or over, you are then also presented with the option to choose free second class delivery (yippee!), or pay for the first class option. This second class delivery option, Royal Mail says, usually takes 3 – 5 days. This is not a tracked delivery option – if you require tracking, please contact us. If you need your order urgently, please see the urgent orders section below.
Urgent Orders or orders with a Need-by Date
If you require your order the day after you place it or you need it by a particular imminent date PLEASE PHONE OR EMAIL US! We can then advise if next day delivery is possible (if you want a quote for that option) or we can make sure we can meet your imminent deadline. PLEASE DO NOT PUT ANY URGENT DELIVERY INFO IN THE COMMENTS SECTION OF YOUR ORDER AS THEY WON’T BE SEEN UNTIL THE ORDER IS OPENED!
Delay, Loss Or Damage
Please let us know immediately of any damage or delay caused with the delivery of your order, so that we can start a prompt claims process with Royal Mail or DHL. Once parcels leave us they are at the mercy of Royal Mail or DHL and we have no control over their tender care so please do not get cross with us if delays happen – we are sensitive souls and do our best to get your order to you on time!
If you have advised us of somewhere safe to leave your order, we cannot be held responsible if it goes missing or gets ruined by the weather after delivery, so please make sure the place you specify is safe and out of rain and snow! We will not refund orders that go missing after delivery has been made or have been left exposed to all that the weather can throw at them if they have been left in the safe place you suggested.
Any claim for loss, delay or damage must be made to us via email – info@wildflower-favours.co.uk – within 48 hours of receiving the order if damaged, or within 3 weeks of having been advised by email that your order is complete.
Delivery Attempted but Failed
When your order is completed you will be emailed to say it is done and on its way.
If a parcel is returned to us because the customer was out and a card was left but the customer did not rearrange delivery or pick up, there will be a further re-delivery cost to be paid.
Signed for Delivery
Royal Mail Special Delivery and DHL will require a signature. Once signed for as having been received, responsibility for that delivery passes to the business/person who placed the order. We cannot be held responsible for packages that have been signed for as delivered but then can’t be found by the business/person who ordered.
Delivery Zones
Unfortunately we do not send orders Internationally or to Northern Ireland and Channel Islands.
