Sunflower Seeds to Help the Bees Memorial Gift

£0.99 Inc VAT

RHS Plants for PollinatorsThe gift of Sunflower seeds is a lovely way for friends and family to remember a loved one.  The seed packet measures 9 x 12 cm  and is made from recycled manilla paper. Bees love sunflowers so these seeds are perfect as a nectar source for your garden.  When the sunflowers have finished flowering you can leave the seedheads on for the benefit of the birds – hang them from trees or pop them into trees resting on branches; hang from bird feeders or lay on bird tables.

Sunflowers are also good at absorbing toxins from the soil.  After the nuclear disaster at Chernobyl, sunflower were planted to soak up the radioactive elements cesium and strontium from the soil and ponds around the reactor area.

The seed packet is personalised with your loved one’s details – please provide those in the box above.  The sowing instructions are on the back of the packet.
