Description

The seed packet measures 9 x 12 cm and is made from white recycled paper.  The cornflower seeds are inside in a paper sachet (not a foil and plastic one)

About Cornflower Seeds

This pretty wildflower was once common in the wild in cornfields but is now very rare in the wild, having been eradicated by farmers.  The flowers are blue and “fluffy” and much loved by bumblebees, honeybees and solitary bees.  All members of the centaurea family are rich in nectar.

Easy to sow!  In late spring, sprinkle the seeds onto a bare patch of soil in full sun and press in.  No need to cover with more soil. Water.  Can also be sown in large pots or troughs.
