We love the rustic look of this recycled hessian wedding invitation set! A lot of work goes into putting this together for you, a handmade delight! The invite is based on a sturdy recycled A5 Kraft card. The actual invite text is printed on tree-free Lokta paper, using a printer with soya as part of its ink – the most eco-friendly printer we could find! An A5 recycled envelope comes with the invite set so that all pieces can be put inside unfolded (colour of envelope is dependent on what is available when you order – manilla, ivory or grey).
The RSVP is A6 size and is made from the same materials as above and comes with a recycled envelope. The whole thing is held together with hessian ribbon and a heart cut from printed hessian.
Please email is the text you would like after you have ordered and we will send a proof back before printing.
What is lokta paper?
Handmade lokta paper is a truly eco-friendly product, being totally treeless. It is natural beige in colour and is unbleached. The paper is made from the bark of the Daphne bush, which grows at high altitude in Nepal. The bush regenerates more growth and can be used again and again, so very eco-friendly!
