Village halls make great wedding party venues as they are usually quite bland in decor so they make a great blank canvas for you to decorate with your own wedding style with no clashing of colours or design! The theme of this pretty village hall wedding was blue and white with a touch of rustic charm. The photos speak for themselves so have a browse ….
Recycled wildflower seed packets from Wildflower Favours were chosen as wedding favours for the guests, and decorated with heart fabric bunting.
Instead of a served set meal, Marc and Jo (aka the happy couple) got a woden crate for each table and filled it with loaves, hams and other deli delights for guests to tuck in and help themselves. The aim of this was to get people talking and socialising more by having to pass round the food, and it worked a treat!
Hand-written tags give a lovely rustic feel to these sweet jars.
Lamps placed around the hall added a soft ambience to the room.
The hall had a separate lounge and bar area and this space was dotted with some fabulous seating that lit up and changed colour!
The happy couple!
